    This center was established to collect, preserve and interpret the life stories of the people of Granbury and Hood County and to examine how they illuminated the history of America. The center is the David Lee Nutt House. He was one of the central and historical figures of Granbury.

  65. Last Mile Cemetery Tour

    Just 1/2 Mile North of Square

    You'll meet a designated location on the Square, then be given instructions about the tour. This historically based tour will visit grave sites of several of Granbury's founding members and residents including General Granbury, Ashley Crockett (grandson of David), the grave site of outlaw Jesse James and many other interesting characters and their stories. Be sure to BRING A FLASHLIGHT and wear good walking shoes.

  66. Bluff Dale Vineyards

    September 28, 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM @ Meet at Nutt House Hotel

    Walk our Historic District with our knowledgeable guide, who'll be dressed in period attire, to visit the Historic Nutt House Hotel, Historic Hood County Jail Museum and the 1858 Yeats-Duke Working Museum. You'll step back in time as we share some of the legends and stories of Granbury, Comanche Peak, John St.Helen(John Wilkes Booth), Jesse James, the famous outlaw and Carrie Nation from prohibition days plus many more. Reservations requested. Tour limited to 20 people.
