    Over 800 dolls from all over the world are on display in this fabulous museum. Dolls from 1868 to the present include such names as Mattel, Madam Alexander, Vogue and characters as Clark Gable, Prince William and Kate Middleton, Little Debbie, Marilyn Monroe and many, many more.

    This historic jail built in 1885 housed many a criminal in it hey-day. The jail cells are on the second floor, the tall tower of the jail is there to accommodate hangings, the sherrifs office, kitchen, photos, artifacts and stories are all there presented by very knowlegeable volunteer historians. Don't miss this historical venue. Group tours available, please call the number listed and leave your information.

  6. The Bridge Street History Center

    August 23, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ 319 East Bridge Street

    This center was established to collect, preserve and interpret the life stories of the people of Granbury and Hood County and to examine how they illuminated the history of American. The center is the David Lee Nutt House, He was of the central and historical figures of Granbury.

This historically based tour will visit grave sites of several of Granbury's founding members and residents including General Granbury, Ashley Crockett (grandson of David), the grave site of outlaw Jesse James and many other interesting characters and their stories. Be sure to BRING A FLASHLIGHT and wear good walking shoes.
