1. Where is the Granbury Visitor Center located?

The Visitors Center is located in the east end of the City Hall building across from the First National Bank Drive-Thru. The Visitors Center hours are Monday-Wednesday 8am-5pm., Thursday & Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 10a - 5p and Sunday Noon-4pm. The Visitors Center phone number is 817-573-5548 or 682-936-1200.

3. What are the hours of the parks?

Our park hours: Open at 5:00 a.m. and close at ll:00 p.m. every day.

4. What time does the City Beach Park close??

Officially, the beach closes to all users at 11:00 pm. But, for safety reasons, it is best to leave by sunset.

5. Is there a charge to use the City Beach?

No, the City Beach is free to the public.

6. Are pets allowed on the City Beach?

No, with the exception of service dogs.

7. Can we grill on the City Beach?

No.

8. How do I get to Glen Rose?

Coming up 67 from Tolar/Stephenville area, exit at 144 and take a right for about 18 miles.
Coming from Fort Worth or that direction, stay on 377 (not 377 business) and exit at 144. Turn left 18 miles.
Coming from Weatherford or from the North of town, turn right on the square at Pearl Street (377 business) and go to the stop light. Get in your left hand lane and turn left on Morgan St. (144). Continue on Morgan past 377 for 18 miles to Glen Rose.
