1. Is there a charge to use the City Beach?

No, unless you want to rent one of the Pavilions. If you do want to reserve one of those, please call
682-936-1200.

2. Are pets allowed on the City Beach?

No, with the exception of service dogs.

3. Can we grill on the City Beach?

No.

4. What time does the City Beach Park close??

Officially, the beach closes to all users at 11:00 pm. But, for safety reasons, it is best to leave by sunset.

5. What are the hours of the parks?

Our park hours: Open at 5:00 a.m. and close at ll:00 p.m. every day.

6. Is there a Granbury Lake Cruise?

Yes. It is offered by Jet Ski & Boat Rentals at 817-776-6057

7. Is there a shuttle service from Granbury to DFW?

Yes, there are three. Please see our listings under "Transportation".

8. How do I get to Glen Rose?

Coming up 67 from Tolar/Stephenville area, exit at 144 and take a right for about 18 miles.
Coming from Fort Worth or that direction, stay on 377 (not 377 business) and exit at 144. Turn left 18 miles.
Coming from Weatherford or from the North of town, turn right on the square at Pearl Street (377 business) and go to the stop light. Get in your left hand lane and turn left on Morgan St. (144). Continue on Morgan past 377 for 18 miles to Glen Rose.

9. What is the phone number for the Driver License office?

817-573-7381. They are open Monday through Friday except holidays from 8-5 and do driving tests by appointment.
